This is a RAIN OR SHINE event!
We will cruise regardless of weather — it doesn’t dampen the fun. Outdoor activities will be adjusted as needed.
Many of the areas we are going are high elevation so bring a jacket!
In the event of severe weather, we will make the assessment at that time.
Leg 1: Blue Ridge Parkway
June 1
Day 1 will be mostly along the Blue Ridge Parkway, with a lunch stop in the Roanoke area.
Leg 2: Galex, VA
June 2
Day 2 heads out from Galex, VA up many back roads including the Back of the Dragon and the Grand Canyon of the South.

Leg 4: Oak Ridge, TN
June 3 – Wednesday – Check-in, Meet & Greet
Meet & Greet at Buddy’s Bar-B-Q in Oak Ridge. We will then head back to the back parking lot at the DoubleTree Inn to hang out with everyone.
June 4 – Thursday – Tail of the Dragon
We will pull out at 9:00 AM from the DoubleTree Inn back parking lot heading to the Dragon. We will eat lunch at the little restaurant at the end of the Dragon. After lunch we will head out toward Robbinsville. We will make a circle and end up at Fontana Dam. From there we will head back across the Dragon to the DoubleTree Inn.
June 5 – Friday – Townsend / Kuwohi Trail (Clingmans Dome)
We will pull out from the DoubleTree Inn parking lot at 9:00 AM and head to Townsend, TN. We will stop at the River Stone restaurant for lunch. After lunch we will head up to Kuwohi Trail (Clingmans Dome). We will head back to the DoubleTree Inn from there.
Dinner at the Parolees restaurant at Brushy Mountain Prison.
June 6 – Saturday – Norris Dam / Devil’s Triangle
We will pull out from the DoubleTree Inn parking lot at 9:00 AM and head to Norris Dam for pictures. From there we will head to the Devil’s Triangle, then back to the hotel.
June 7 – Sunday – Check Out Day
11:00 AM: Hotel Check Out Time
